If you’re looking to make money with the Viggle TV app, you’ve come to the right place.
With so many rewards sites out there, it’s hard to keep up. In this review, I’ll break it all down for you and tell you everything you need to know about Viggle.
Let’s get into it.
What is Viggle?
Viggle TV is a platform that is geared towards people who consume a lot of entertainment. It pays people to watch television.

The Viggle TV app came into existence in 2012. The company is owned by Robert Francis Sillerman and is a property of Function X. At the time of this review, the app have over 7 million users and has paid out over $19 million in rewards.
You can use it to watch television the conventional way or through streaming. It also works with music. Users earn points for every minute of audio they listen to and video they watch.
The more television you watch and music you listen to, the more points you earn, the more money you make. However, Viggle isn’t a get-quick-rich scheme.
You only earn one point for every minute you watch, and you have to accumulate roughly one thousand points to make a dollar.
It takes time and effort to make money from Viggle in satisfactory amounts. So it primarily appeals to people who already watch a lot of television. Everyone else might find it cumbersome.
How Does Viggle TV Work?
This App is relatively straightforward. You get paid to watch television and to listen to music. But the App doesn’t take your word for it that you have watched the shows and listened to the music you claim. It will watch and listen with you.
The App will check to confirm and verify the shows you are watching and the number of minutes you have consumed. You will earn your money once the show ends. This applies to shows you either streamed or recorded on your DVR.
If you use your DVR to record shows, you must watch the show before the next morning (8 AM) to get paid.
Keep these additional factors in mind:
1) Bonus Points
As mentioned above, the Viggle TV App gives you one point for every minute you watch. But that doesn’t apply to every show.
Some shows are more lucrative. They are associated with bonus points that will enable you to multiply your earnings.
Viggle doesn’t keep you guessing. It has a feature (‘What’s On’) that will reveal to you all the tv shows that offer bonus points.
While some shows only offer 50 bonus points, others can offer as many as a thousand. This is why Viggle TV isn’t a get-rich-quick scheme.
It requires a small amount of hard work. Anyone can make a few dollars by watching some of their favorite shows every week.
But if you want to make decent amounts, you must commit to watching shows that you don’t necessarily care about.
2) Trivia Games
If you thought that Viggle only offered rewards for listening to music or television, you might be surprised to learn that it also pays people for answering trivia questions.
When you provide answers to some trivia questions during certain programs, you have the opportunity to earn extra points.
For those who have no patience for trivia questions that interrupt your favorite programs, Viggle’s Live games are not fixed to specific TV shows. You can access them directly from the App even when there is no show playing.
Playing these trivia games during periods where you can’t watch TV will earn you points, especially if you have a decent understanding of movies and television.
3) Commercials
If you hate the commercials that punctuate most TV shows, you should know that Viggle pays its users for watching them. They will send you a banner that you can tap to receive your points.
Just keep in mind, you must finish the video where the commercial was shown. The commercials are not long. Most of them rarely exceed 30 seconds.
4) Ways to Earn
The Viggle TV App doesn’t discriminate. It allows you to earn points for watching every type of show you can imagine. That includes children’s shows and sports.
In other words, every time you sit down to watch television with your children. You can use that opportunity to earn extra points through Viggle.
5) Coupons
Viggle gives you an additional reason to watch its in-app commercials. Some of them have coupons that will pop up on the screen.
All you have to do to use these coupons is take a screenshot. You can get a bonus by showing a screenshot to a retailer.
Some commercials offer discounts rather than coupons. You can use these to reduce the cost of your purchases in various stores.
How To Join Viggle TV
The Viggle App is free to join. You will need to download it, and at the time of this review, it appears that Viggle is only available in the Google Play store for the Android platform.

The App is made with mobile devices in mind. You cannot use it on your computer.
Once you have downloaded the App, install it, and register. Registration is a simple matter of providing some necessary information. You can start making money once your account is verified.
As a best practice, you should visit the App daily to discover the new offers they have on hand. If you want to use Viggle to earn points from certain shows, you can also use the App to set reminders. This will prevent you from missing your shows.
How Much Can You Make on Viggle?
The amount you will earn depends on what you do with Viggle, for instance:
1. The App pays people to watch TV through cable or streaming. You get paid for every minute you watch.
Shows that air past midnight are more lucrative. Each TV show you watch can earn you an average of 200 points.
2. Besides TV, you can play Viggle’s interactive games, with Viggle Live being one of the most popular. The trivia game allows you to earn an average of 25 points in each session. You have to answer some trivia questions.
3. The App has sweepstakes that it runs every month. The people that win are awarded trips, prizes, and the like. Entering the sweepstakes happens automatically whenever you redeem your points.
You have to redeem as many points as possible to stand a good chance of winning. It isn’t just prizes and trips on offer. They also pay cash.
4. You can earn 200 points by referring the Viggle TV App to your friends. You cannot make money unless your friend uses your code when they sign up. The more referrals you make, the more money you earn.
You can earn as much as 60,000 points in a month. The points that Viggle members earn are turned into perk points.
Note: Those perk points are redeemed using a Perk Plastik Debit Card. The company uses Paypal and gift cards to pay its members. You also have the option of trading your points for merchandise.
Is Viggle TV Legit?
Viggle is not BBB Accredited, but it has a rating of A+. It is not a scam.
However, it has a lot of negative reviews online. People were initially happy with Viggle and its offerings. However, over the years, it has made changes that have attracted quite many complaints.

There is a forced Viggle update today that officially kills the app. It’s a poor crappy version of Perk Live TV that randomly issues points during first few minutes then none thereafter for long periods.#RIPViggle #ViggleIsDead #PerkSucks
For instance, certain prizes and awards cost so much more now than they did a few years ago. In some cases, the number of points you need has doubled, which means people have to work so much harder to secure the same awards.
You can only get certain awards during specific periods. Their availability has been limited. They did the same to the quantity. You don’t get as many points for ads and trailers, and the check-in bonuses have lost some of their value.
Viggle has made improvements in certain places. The Direct TV connection, for instance, is appreciated. But these improvements have done little to outweigh the complaints about the negative changes made by the App.
While these changes make Viggle an inconvenience, they do not make it any less legitimate. This App is not a scam. It won’t make you rich, but it can be trusted.
Though, it is worth noting that only US residents can access it.
Competitors To Viggle
Viggle is not the only App that rewards you for doing the things you like. Some other apps that operate within this same field include:
1) Perk TV Live
This app rewards users for watching TV. Besides offering points, it will take note of the TV programs you are watching before telling you what people say about it on social media. The App will also give you recommendations.
2) Check Points
This App allows you to earn points by scanning the products in a store. You can use those points to acquire prizes from Amazon and iTunes.
You can also redeem them for airline miles and gadgets. The App is available in over two million stores.
3) App Trailers
This App allows you to earn points by watching trailers, DIY videos, and online celebrity gossip. The points you get will earn you cash, gift cards, and numerous other prizes.
4) Swagbucks
Swagbucks is a comprehensive app that allows you to earn points for doing everything from watching videos to taking surveys and buying merchandise online.
Conclusion
If you watch videos and television, Viggle App is a no-brainer. With so many rewards sites out there, it makes sense to give it a try if it lines up with something you’re already doing.
Viggle isn’t what it used to be, according to many reviews. But if you’re looking to earn rewards for watching TV, then you might want to give it a try. If you’re looking to make a full-time income, I would probably look elsewhere.
Before I go, I’ll leave you with a solid video below on how to make a few extra dollars with Viggle. Enjoy!
