Today I want to review a company that I actually used to be involved in and that’s Melaleuca. Melaleuca is a giant in the mlm industry and has been around for a long time. They’re giants in the direct selling world.

This company actually made my top mlm companies by revenue and fastest growing mlm companies list. They’re definitely worth a look. But are they actually worth it? I’m about to  answer some of the most common questions about Melaleuca so you can decide for yourself if it is right for you.

What is Melaleuca?

Melaleuca is a company that manufactures hundreds of products and sells directly to consumers. The company was founded in 1985 to market a tea tree oil formulation called Melaleuca Oil.

The company manufactures and distributes nutritional, pharmaceutical, personal care, facial care, home hygiene, and other wellness products. Melaleuca’s product line is of high quality. And their products are distributed directly to the consumer through a full-service catalog and internet shopping system.

This convenient system is changing the way hundreds of thousands of people shop today by eliminating middlemen and reducing marketing and distribution costs. This allows the company to spend more on research and high-quality, ecologically sensible ingredients while maintaining reasonable prices.

Melaleuca is an international company with operations in over 22 markets worldwide and generated over 2 billion in revenue 2018. The company has grown steadily over the since 1985. Melalueca has a large ecommerce operation that enables customers to conveniently shop for products online.

The company’s product portfolio is marketed through a global network of independent sales representatives and through Melaleuca’s website. Besides consumer products, the company offers home security systems in the US and Canada.

It markets its products directly to its customers through catalogs and online. Rather than allocating funds to advertising, middlemen, and retail stores, Melaleuca focuses on scientific research and product effectiveness to get its name out.

Some 63% of Melaleuca’s customers are only interested in the company’s products. The remaining group pursues the financial opportunities offered through the company’s direct sales model. One out of nine customers (or 11%) decide to start their own Melaleuca business and achieve director status or above.

What is Melaleuca’s BBB Rating and is This a Legitimate Opportunity?

As I mentioned earlier, around63% of Melaleuca’s customers are only interested in the company’s products. This shows that the company is solid and stands behind a strong product portfolio.

The Wellness Company finished 2018 with over $2.1 billion in revenue – a company record. In 2017, the company hit $2 billion in revenue. The company also has over 150,000 independent distributors, while being accredited with the BBB and A+ rated.

Melaleuca is one of a very few companies in America that can claim to have increased its annual revenues in 30 of the last 32 years, and the Wellness Company went from $1 billion in annual sales in 2011 to $2 billion in six years. Melaleuca will join an elite group of companies with this accomplishment.

According to Forbes, only 225 private companies broke the $2 billion mark in annual revenue in 2016. Boise-based grocery store chain Albertsons was the only other Idaho-based company on the list.

Here’s a tend line of the revenue growth for Melaleuca which has been off the charts.

Melaleuca BBB Rating

By now you probably can tell that Melaleuca is a legit opportunity in the mlm space. The company has been around for a long time and the revenue numbers are off to charts. In the wellnesss industry, you need a differentiated product to make a dent and this industry is growing.

Melaleuca’s products are great and as I mentioned, most people have no interest in being a business builder and prefer to just buy their products. That’s saying something. I hope you found this review helpful and I answered all of your questions.
